Perkins resigns as HC at Utah Valley

    I was shocked to hear that Kevin Perkins had resigned at Utah Valley. You can read about the resignation here, via Utah Lacrosse News.

    Kevin is a great guy and hopefully he isn't kept from continuing to contribute to Utah lacrosse for long.

    What does this mean for UVU? Do they lose their way potentially for this season? Does Westminster take a stranglehold on the RMLC DII?

    They really need to make the right hire here. My 2 initial thoughts were Pete Stevenson or Fish Bartlett. Thats where Pete started, and there are a lot of Jordan kids on the roster for Fish. Maybe someone at BYU would be interested? Like Jordan Harris? A real dark horse would be Chris Rader making his epic return.

    Pete stated he likes coaching at East a couple of weeks ago.

    I am nowhere near the coach that program deserves. Sadly, I think I am stuck where I am professionally for at least the next decade or so. What about Rick Wey? It'll probably be some BYU grad.
